There is an extensive network of bus services on the Coast, making the bus a great way to see the region, travel to work or the shops, or travel to the beach for a much deserved swim.
The Translink Journey Planner and Sunshine Coast Network Map will assist you to identify which services you can access on the Coast to travel to your destination. You can also call TransLink on 13 12 30.
It is important to note that a majority of TransLink bus services on the Sunshine Coast are 'hail and ride' so you will need to notify the driver that you require him to stop. To hail a bus move out from the bus stop and raise your arm to indicate you require that service.
Hinterland Connect
Hinterland Connect [PDF 320KB] bus service trial provides convenient transport between Maleny and Nambour with connections to TransLink bus services to the coast, and train services to Brisbane.
